VisionTek Go Drive 480GB

Data is more than just numbers and files. Its the heartbeat of businesses financial services firms healthcare organizations and government offices. If sensitive data is compromised the results can be devastating and potentially create a costly legal nightmare.

According to a study performed by the Ponemon Institute the pre-eminent research center dedicated to privacy data protection and information security policy the average cost of a lost corporate laptop is around $50000 which consists of lost intellectual property data breaches and legal costs.

To protect yourself and maintain your data security reputation you need to store your data on a secure encrypted drive. While data on nearly any kind of SSD is encrypted when the controller writes data from the computer to the flash memory in the SSD the data isnt password protected so its readily accessible to prying eyes.

Bullet-Proof Protection
The Go Drive Opal 1.0 Encryption Ready SSD is fully compliant with the rigorous Opal 1.0 specifications established by the Trusted Computing Group (TCG) so data will remain secure in the event of computer theft or loss. Being Opal 1.0 secure encrypted insures the Go Drive complies with government and corporate data security requirements.

Hardware-Based Encryption For Full Performance
Because Opal 1.0 utilizes the AES 128-bit hardware encryption built-into the Go Drives controller theres no speed reduction like that found on a non-secure drive utilizing a software-based encryption application.

DuraClassďż˝ Technologies for world-class SSD reliability performance and power efficiency:
- DuraWriteďż˝ extends the drive endurance by 20x or more compared to standard SSD controllers.
- Advanced Wear Leveling & Monitoring distributes data evenly across the entire drive.
- Advanced Read/Disturb Management safeguards against data corruption by spreading read/write cycles across the flash components.
- Intelligent garbage collection recycling maintains optimal write speeds by clearing blocks of unneeded data during off-peak usage times.
- RAISEďż˝ (Redundant Array of Independent Silicon Elements) protects the data on your drive from flash block failures without typical RAID inefficiencies.
- Superior error correction (ECC) protection for longest data retention and drive life.

The Go Drive Opal Encryption Ready SSD is perfect for:
- Corporations.
- Government offices.
- Financial service firms.
- Healthcare operations.
- SOHO settings.
