Kanguru 8GB Defender 2000

The Kanguru Defender 2000 is the most advanced easy-to-use and incredibly secure flash drive in the world. Designed to address stringent industry security and federal standards this hardware encrypted flash drive is ideal for keeping sensitive government financial or corporate information highly secure yet conveniently portable. It combines high level 256-bit AES hardware encryption FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Certification (Cert # 1712) Common Criteria (in process) onboard anti-virus tamper proof design and optional remote management capabilities for the most comprehensive security solution available in an encrypted flash drive.

256-bit Hardware Encryption The backbone of the Defender 2000's security hardware encryption provides top tier performance unmatched by software encryption solutions. In addition on chip password matching means that the encryption cant be circumvented; insuring your datas security.

FIPS 140-2 Level 2 Certified (Cert # 1712) The Kanguru Defender 2000 flash drive has completed the FIPS 140-2 Certification process Level 2. FIPS 140-2 a rigorous federal security accreditation program managed by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) sets the standard for encryption modules intended for use in protecting sensitive government information.

Onboard Anti-Virus Every Kanguru Defender 2000 encrypted flash drive comes with a free one year subscription to BitDefender Anti-Virus. Built right into the drive this feature prevents the Kanguru Defender 2000 from being used as a vehicle for transporting viruses and malware. The anti-virus can also be used to scan the host computer(s); in effect becoming a portable anti-virus solution for every PC you work on.

Tamper Proof Design The Kanguru Defender 2000s casing is filled with an epoxy compound that is water resistant and prevents physical access to the chip. Any subversive attempt to remove the epoxy compound destroys the flash chip rendering it unusable and inaccessible.

Remotely Manageable Using Kanguru Remote Management Console (KRMC) this optional feature gives you the ability to control an entire fleet of your Defender 2000 secure flash drive(s) from anywhere in the world.
