The EDGE� Boost Pro Solid State Drive (SSD) utilizes the premium SandForce SF-2281 controller. Ultra-fast read and write speeds of up to 550MB/s and 515MB/s (in a SATA III 6Gb/s system) can be achieved respectively. Outstanding read and write speeds coupled with a 85000 max IOPS rating provide fantastic performance gains in boot time file transfers and loading software applications.
Security is a critical feature of Boost Pro SSD featuring 256-bit AES hardware encryption that secures 100% of data when enabled.* The feature-rich SandForce controller comes standard with robust tools such as TRIM S.M.A.R.T. Garbage Collection wear leveling and ECC to promote stability and reliability. SandForce exclusive functions� Durawrite and RAISE�further enhance data efficiency and increase the lifespan of the SSD.

This product uses a SF-2281 controller and will ship with 128-bit AES encryption until August 1st 2012. After this date this product will begin shipping with 256-bit AES encryption. If you have purchased one of these drives before August 1st 2012 and require 256-bit AES encryption please contact EDGE Support to receive an exchange (to be issued after August 1 2012).
